CAROUSEL WIDGET

The Carousel widget is used to display animation of banner widgets. The widget is designed in such a way that the product images are altered in a sequence for the end-user to have a glimpse of the product.

Adding a carousel widget involves inserting multiple banner widgets. The carousel widget can be added to all the images under any of the sections present in the webstore home page.

1. Log in to administrator mode and click on the spanner symbol. The options to manage widgets appear.

   

2. As displayed in above image click on “Insert a Row in this slot” to create column in the section (i.e. Left side bar, content & right side bar) you want to add a widget.
3. After adding a row you can further create multiple columns in a particular row as shown in below image.

   

4. After adding the column click on “Add a widget in this column” to add CAROUSEL widget. If you do not want to add columns then you can directly click on “Add a widget in this column” to add CAROUSEL widget in the row.

   

5. Once you click on the “Add a widget in this column” you will see a dialogue box similar to one shown below from where you can select the widget of your choice.

   

6. Click on Add a Carousel Widget. The Carousel Widget dialog box opens.

   

7. Click the plus button. The “Enter Tab Title” dialog box appears; enter the title in the Title box

   

8. After entering the Title, click ok. The “Create New Carousel Widget” dialog box appears.

   

9. Click on Add a Banner Widget and add multiple banner widgets by using the plus button. Click Save Changes to save the changes inside the individual widget. Click Save to save all the changes in the Carousel widget. After saving, the widget created is displayed on the webstore.

   

   Note: Tabs are used to create a product category that will be displayed in an animated manner on your webstore. Each tab will consist of a banner widget added for a product category. Creating multiple tabs will result in product categories displayed in an animated manner.

   You have the options to edit, delete and enable the carousel widget.

10. Close the Carousel dialog box. The web page reloads and the created widget is visible. The widget created is displayed on the webstore. You have the options to edit, delete or enable the Carousel widget. To enable a Carousel widget:
    • Once the page reloads take your cursor to the CAROUSEL widget so that you can see the editor. Click on the settings icon which is in line of carousel widget where you can see the option of enable this widget. Click on “enable this widget”.

      

    Note: Unless you enable the Carousel widget, the widget will not be visible to the customer
11. If you want to edit an already added CAROUSEL widget then click on the Pen icon right besides the settings icon. This will allow you to edit the already added CAROUSEL widget.

    

12. If you want to delete an already added CAROUSAL widget then click on the settings icon which is in line of banner widget where you can see the option of delete this widget. Click on “delete this widget”.
