PRODUCT LIST WIDGET

The Product list widget allows the webstore owners to display a specific collection of products. For instance, you can display a collection of your best selling products on home page, by using a product list widget. The product list enables you to define and create a specific set of products based on certain criteria. The following procedure explains the steps to add a product list widget.

1. Log in to administrator mode and click the spanner symbol. The options to manage widgets appear.

   

2. As displayed in the above image click on “Insert a Row in this slot” to create column in the section (i.e. Left side bar, content & right side bar) you want to add a widget.
3. After adding a row you can further create multiple columns in a particular row as shown in below image.

   

4. After adding the column click on “Add a widget in this column” to add PRODUCT LIST widget. If you do not want to add columns then you can directly click on “Add a widget in this column” to add PRODUCT LIST widget in the row.

   

5. Once you click on the “Add a widget in this column” you will see a dialogue box similar to the one shown below from where you can select the widget of your choice.

   

6. Click on Add a Product list Widget. The Product list Widget dialog box opens. The dialog box contains options to choose from the existing product list widgets and to create new product list widgets as well. You can choose to modify an existing product list widget or create a new one.

   

7. Search for the relevant product list in the Search box by typing the name of the product. The product is automatically searched and displayed.

   

8. Click Add.
9. Enter a title for the product list in the Title box.
10. Enter the number of items to be displayed in the Number of Items to Display box.
11. Click Save. A message stating Successfully Created Product List Widget appears.
12. Close the Product list dialog box. The web page reloads and the created widget is visible. The widget created is displayed on the webstore. You have the options to edit, delete or enable the Product list widget. To enable a Product list widget:
    • Once the page reloads take your cursor to the PRODUCT LIST widget so that you can see the editor. Click on the settings icon which is in line of product list widget where you can see the option of enable this widget. Click on “enable this widget”.

      

      Note: Unless you enable the Product list widget, the widget will not be visible to the customer

13. If you want to edit an already added PRODUCT LIST widget then click on the Pen icon right beside the settings icon. This will allow you to edit the already added PRODUCT LIST widget.

    

14. If you want to delete an already added PRODUCT LIST widget then click on the settings icon which is in line of banner widget where you can see the option of delete this widget. Click on “delete this widget”.
